I Had Severe
Headaches for Years!

It really jeopardized my quality of time with my family and friends – and especially my job.  Dr. Nelson’s chiropractic care really allowed me to enjoy my life more.  Now I can spend more time with my family and friends.  I’m also confident that when I go to work I won’t be coming home early or even calling in because of a headache.  I get a lot of relief with Dr. Nelson’s adjustments so I make sure I follow thru and see him for check-ups.  I even took my own husband in with the confidence that Dr. Nelson will get him the care he needs.

I think I’ve seen every type of doctor when it comes to dealing with “Migraines”.  My husband suggested I see his chiropractor, Dr. Bill.  Dr. Bill has changed my life.  Before seeing Dr. Bill, I had been on expensive daily medication, shots, etc.  Now I see Dr. Bill monthly (for an adjustment ) and I don’t take any medication for my migraines.  Thank goodness for Dr. Bill (and his staff )!!

I was convinced to see a chiropractor by a relative and friend. I went even though my belief in chiropractors was sketchy at best. My problem was hand numbness and swelling. During the consultation Dr Blickensderfer asked about my headaches. I said don’t bother with those, I’ve had them since I was young. Well, my hand cleared up fast and as a by product of the adjustments my headaches were reduced, Well, I went a month w/o one and I used to get two a week on average. They were so bad I had to do what I call the knockout! Heavy medications. I did not have a headache for one month when I was checked for my maintenance and have no hand numbness at all!!

No way was I going to a chiropractor! My husband tried for over a year, I believe, to get me to go. I finally went because my son, who was a chiropractic student, came with me.
My history was severe low back pain due to a bad fall. I had surgery and rods placed in my back, then removed. Dr Blickensderfer explained the severity of arthritis in my back and said he could help, but it would take some time. I was on pain meds everyday! I was down and sore constantly. With the gentle techniques and traction that Dr. Blickensderfer used, I could not believe the response I had. I take no more pain meds at all. I can say I am 80% better overall and words cannot describe how happy I am that I went to a chiropractor. I’m proud of my son who is now a practicing chiropractor in another state and know firsthand the relief he is going to bring people who decide to choose him.

I am a high school student and love to play baseball and basketball. I am a pitcher for the Post 22 team in Rapid City. A year or so ago, my back tightened up and I couldn’t pitch effectively. I have undergone lower back surgery three times and neck surgery once with limited success. My injuries were due to a severe injury at work. My condition was so bad that suicide seemed a viable option. I suffered unrelenting headaches and dizziness daily and frequent excruciating low back pain. As a last resort, I tried chiropractic. My son Zach had ear infections and chronic illness up until he was 10 years old. Every year we spent at that time 100 to 150 a month on drugs and medicine’s. Dr Blickensderfer was getting his hair cut by me and he suggested that I get Zach’s neck checked for misalignments. So I did. Zach had started the fourth grade and was already sick. I brought him to get checked and Dr. Blickensderfer aligned his upper neck and showed me why this was affecting Zach’s health. He even showed me studies out of Europe and other successes he had with this condition. Zach never had to take anti-biotics again for the rest of his school years like before!! I wish more parents knew what I knew.
